Start riding school lessons
When you start riding at the Eindhovense Manege, you need to know the following:
- Lesson Agreement ("lesovereenkomst")
Every riding school rider must sign a lesson agreement. This contains a number of agreements between you and the riding school.
- Payment for riding lessons
You pay for the lessons at the Eindhovense Manege. You can take single lessons or a quarterly card. See the rates page for more information. For questions and changes, send an email to email@example.com. You can cancel a lesson via firstname.lastname@example.org.
- VEM membership
Every rider is a mandatory member of the Association Eindhovense Manege (Vereniging Eindhovense Manege (VEM), so you too. This membership is automatically applied for via the lesson agreement you completed. You don't have to do anything for this. The VEM organizes all activities in and around the Eindhovense Manege. Moreover, we will send you our club magazine the "Chambrière" every quarter. Every year in January you will receive an invoice from the VEM for the contribution. For questions and changes, send an email to email@example.com.
- FNRS equestrian passport ("ruiterpaspoort")
Every riding school rider is required to have a FNRS rider passport. This equestrian passport is automatically applied for via the lesson agreement completed by you. You don't have to do anything for this. Every year you will receive an invoice from the KNHS for your rider passport.
- Stop riding lessons
If you want to stop riding lessons, read on the next page what you should keep in mind:
Start as a competition rider
If you become a member of the KNHS via the VEM for a start pass as a competition rider, you should know the following:
- VEM contribution
Every year in January you will receive an invoice from the VEM for the contribution.
- KNHS contribution
Your annual KNHS contribution is also collected via the invoice for the VEM contribution.
- Application for a start pass
The VEM registers you with the KNHS as a member of our pony club (V60524) or our riding club (V60132). You can then apply for your start pass yourself via MijnKNHS. If you don't have a MijnKNHS account yet, create one first.
- Switch association
If you were a member of another association and you want to switch, you can ask the KNHS to convert your starting department to the VEM after you have been registered with the KNHS by the VEM. If the KNHS contribution was already paid through your old association, you do not have to pay it again.
- Terminate VEM membership
If you want to cancel your VEM membership, read on the next page what you should keep in mind:
